C9901703) Calcite with Fluorite - Annabel Lee mine, Harris Creek Sub-District, Illinois - Kentucky Fluorspar District, Hardin Co., Illinois, USA Size: 8.7 x 6.9 x 5.4 cm (small cabinet) Price: $ 300
A very neat combination small cabinet piece from this famous mining district! The specimen consists of a pale blue elongated near transparent semi-lustrous fluorite crystal, this hosting a colorless translucent double terminated calcite crystal measuring 6.8 cm in length. The fluorite is complete all around and very clean of damage; the main calcite crystal is damage-free. There are several smaller calcite crystals present that are cleaved. Overall I think this in very good condition damage-wise. Size: 8.7 x 6.9 x 5.4 cm. Ex Gene Tribbey collection #1703 with data card dating the specimen to 1985. A choice inter-grown grouping of lustrous brassy striated pyrite crystals measuring 7.1 x 5.4 x 4.6 cm in size overall, this hosting several colorless quartz crystals to 4.0 cm in length. Not complete on the base; very sharp and clean of damage. Ex Gene Tribbey collection #1781 with data card.
